How absorbent/waterproof is it?

We've tested them and you can pour OVER 16 ounces of liquid on top and it will hold it all without any leaking. So any size accident your baby can make will certainly be captured in the absorbent top layer and kept there, even while transporting it to the laundry!

How many do I need?

Bare minimum it is good to have one to use, one to wash. But on average our customers say 4 is the perfect number. So you always have one handy at your potty/changing station, one in the diaper bag or stroller, and a couple back-ups (because honestly no one has time to do laundry that frequently).

How long do they last?

Mine lasted through several babies without ever springing a leak! You'll get tons of use and repeated washes out of your waterproof pad.

Hint: Just be careful not to wash with other clothing items that have Velcro, they can get snagged in the wash.

Is it safe on baby's skin?

Yes, the top layer of our Waterproof pads are made of 100% natural cotton that is OEKO-TEX-100 certified. This certification is even more strict than most organic certifications. Our cotton fabric is also certified azo-dye-free. You can feel confident that it is safe and gentle on baby's skin for naked observation time.

Great product

Works well, soft, practical! Sometimes I forget to let it lay flat to dry so it ends up in the dryer — not sure if this weakens its waterproofing ability.

Great size and super soft

Love this pee pad! Can someone please shout from the rooftops to read the laundry care instructions first? Nothing major but the trim shrank bc I did not read the instructions and tossed it in the dryer so the edges curled up a little. 100% my fault. Otherwise it's wonderful and a generous size to catch any ahem, bodily fluids on the coming or going efforts.
