The pants that practically potty themselves 😂: Tiny Chaps, also known as baby chaps, split pants, or kāidāngkù in Chinese, are designed to give babies and parents freedom during observation time, and toddlers quick access to the potty before they can self-dress, providing an ideal solution for Elimination Communication (EC) and early potty learning.

These pants are ideal for diaper-free observation, enabling parents to recognize their baby's cues without fully removing clothing. They provide convenient potty access while helping keep your baby warm and comfortable during EC sessions.

Our new colors and prints include Sage Bunny, Blush Bunny (color lighter in person than on picture) and Oatmilk Clouds for smaller sizes.

Made from 100% combed cotton, Tiny Chaps are soft and comfortable on your baby's skin, with either no-rub cotton ribbing on the waist or a covered adjustable Velcro closure for a secure fit and easy removal when needed.

These pants are meant to be baggy and flexible and can be worn as a layer under a diaper or solo for observation time or easier toddler independence without the need for self-dressing.

Please note we offer slightly different authentic Chinese designs (based on current supplier availability - these are SO hard to find!) for each size. Order based on your child's usual size.
